The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office arrested eight adult men after a three-day operation targeting a child sex trafficking case in Montana.
The suspects face charges that include sexual abuse of children and prostitution of a child. Those arrested are Russell David Ashman, 50; Isaac Shay Floyd, 19; David Joseph Kron, 65; Dale Brian Cramm, 70; Bryan Byangton, 38; Terry M. Erickson, 47; Robert Joseph Orwig, 57; and Tracy Glenn Buckingham, 67.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton said investigators focused on identifying people who would victimize children. “We conducted this investigation to identify suspects in our area that would victimize children and remove them from our communities,” Holton said.
Ravalli County Attorney Bill Fulbright and his office supported the operation, Holton said. He added that the arrests were intended to communicate that people seeking to commit crimes against children would face arrest and prosecution in Ravalli County.
